Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PLAT ("PLAT", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit useplat.com, use the PLAT platform at app.useplat.com, or engage our agency services. PLAT provides email & lifecycle marketing services and a campaign-intelligence platform for marketing teams.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data — name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account or request access.
- Billing data — subscription plan and billing history. Card details are processed by our payment providers and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, searches performed, and device/browser information, used to operate and improve the product.
- Client data — where we provide agency services, information you share with us about your business, audiences, and marketing accounts, handled under the terms of our engagement with you.
- Correspondence — messages you send us, including support requests and newsletter sign-ups.
2. The campaign intelligence library
The PLAT platform indexes marketing emails and advertising creative that brands distribute publicly — for example, campaigns sent to public mailing lists and ads published in public ad libraries. This library contains commercial marketing material, not consumer personal data. We do not sell or expose subscriber lists, recipient data, or any individual's inbox contents.
If you represent a brand and would like content attributed to your brand reviewed or removed from the library, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
3. How we use your data
- To provide, maintain, and improve the platform and our agency services.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To send service communications, and — only with your consent — marketing communications such as our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
4. Legal bases
Where UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (operating, improving, and securing the service), consent (marketing communications), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run PLAT — cloud hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics — under contracts that restrict how they may use it, and where required by law.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and operate the site, and privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it. Billing records are retained for the period required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
9. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
11. Contact
